The Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development (VBDED) in partnership with Cyber Protection Resources (CPR) hosted a Discover Forum in July 2016 to gain a deeper quantitative understanding of the operational health of cyber security businesses operating in the Virginia Beach region. The data enabled each individual cyber security business in attendance to understand where they can most profitably invest their time, energy and capital to drive future growth. The data in aggregate will enable the VBDED and its partners to understand the needs of these businesses, and then target specific resources to help them grow, strengthen and ultimately create new jobs.
